I am a professional leading opera singer specializing in the Italian dramatic opera repertoire. I have lived in Rome permanently for 4 years and 2 years in Milan when I was trained as an opera singer - and in connection with my career and engagements in Italian opera houses in various cities all over Italy from 1996 - 2000.

I have since periodically returned to Italy to study and perform as a soloist - at the end of August 2022.

As a tour guide, I am a skilled communicator, host and logistician. My experience as a kind of tour guide stretches all the way back to the World Athletics Championships in Rome in 1987. There I was tour guide and attaché for the large American athletics team and had to keep track of a great many practical things for the total of 475 professional athletes - including many definite world stars such as Carl Lewis, coaches and managers who arrived in Rome to compete against other athletes from all over the world, including Norway's athletics team, for which I was also a tour guide and attaché.

Although I was quite young - 26 years old - it was an interesting lesson and experience that I have carried with me throughout my life until today, when I also work as an artistic director and leading professional opera singer. Artistic management is also about keeping track of many things at the same time with a smile and friendly friendliness.

I have also worked as a tourist guide in Rome with tourists from all over the world who had come to the Eternal City to experience its millennia of history, art and music, from ancient Rome to modern Rome.

As a professional opera singer and theater historian, I would be happy to have you as a tour guide, host and lecturer on opera trips to selected opera festivals in Italy, for example Arena di Verona, Marcerata, the Puccini festival at Torre del Lago, located literally in the large beautiful lake Torre del Lago at the small northern Italian town of Torre del Lago, where as a tourist you can see, among other things, the villa of the world-famous Italian opera composer Giacomo Puccini.

At opera tours, before the guests go in and experience, for example, Aida, Tosca or another Italian opera in, for example, the Arena di Verona, I will talk about the specific opera, its action and, not least, the historical background seen in relation to the social, national and political contemporary development of the opera's composition. I will also give a few examples by performing myself with a pianist with scenes and arias from selected Italian operas from 1840 onwards as well as famous Italian and Neapolitan songs. In this way, the guests will be dressed really well for the great visual and dramatic experience that follows in, for example, the Arena di Verona.
