Cool Nørrebro
Our tour begins at the open market place Torvehallerne near Nørreport station, where we'll enjoy a refreshment to get ready for our walk. This tour is best for small groups who desire a friendly, personal experience with their guide.
A short distance away, we'll cross Queen Louise's Bridge and the Copenhagen lakes, which formed part of the medieval city's old defensive walls and now provide city dwellers a highly valued recreational area.
On the other side, we'll explore the cool and multicultural Nørrebro district. You'll discover the colourful past of this working-class neighbourhood and also experience its hip and young culture.
After stopping at two attractive and beloved squares, each with its own character, we'll walk through a beautiful park-like cemetery to visit the resting places of world-famous philosophers, musicians, and authors.
There will be ample time to take photographs and we'll end at Queen Louise's Bridge.
