Free Man
Free Men is the term used for all the men, who had the right to meet up and be heard at Tingstedet. The term originated in The Viking Age.
A free man could vote and make his opinion known at Tinge, which is det Danish word for an assembly. The Danish Parliament (or Folketinget) has its origins in the Tinge.
With time, even the peasants were a part of the so-called free men and could vote for equal rights with the rest of the population.
