Constitution, the Danish
The Danish Constitution is the most basic law in Denmark. All other laws and decisions within the Danish society shall be conducted with regards to the Constitution.
The Constitution was introduced June 5th 1849. With it, the absolute monarchy in Denmark ended. With the adoption of the Constitution, constitutional monarchy in Denmark was introduced.
The Constitution has been amended several times. E.g. in 1915 were women and servants were given the rights to vote. The latest amendment was made June 5 1953, which allowed for female succession to the Danish throne.
