Tustrup Graveyard, the
The Tustrup Graveyard lies in Northern Djurs and it houses many graves from the Neolithic period, specifically the Funnel Beaker Culture.
Several types of megalith tombs can be found in the Tustrup Graveyard, among those two dolmen, one of Denmark's largest passage graves, as well as a "kulthus", a place of worship. The Tustrup Graveyard lies near the Hevring Stream, and it is this location near water, which made the area attractive.
The area was used as a graveyard and place of worship for almost 5000 years in the Neolithic Period.
