Starting by the ferry in Tårs or in the town of Nakskov we take a short drive to visit the manor house Frederiksdal and here get to know more about the production of this special cherry wine and get to taste a couple of samples. The cherry wines are also for sale. If you like, we can take a stroll in the nature park.

We continue to a couple of beautiful and quite special gardens in the northwestern part of Lolland and make stops here to take a closer look at the varied selection of flowers, trees, and plants.

Afternoon tea can be served at one of the gardens or at the Bandholm Hotel with a lovely sea view. I shall tell you more about the harbour there - the only privately owned harbour in Denmark.

The last stop of the day will be at a smaller vinyard that produces wine from both grapes and other fruits. The climate here is good for growing fruit and many growers make use of the modern production facilities here. We also taste the wine and you can buy directly from the shop there.
