Tour manager Denmark, Anders
Denmark is my home country, and I know it from several different angles.
I was born and raised in Birkerød in North Zealand, have lived in Copenhagen since 1998, and still think of North Zealand as my own backyard. At the same time, I have travelled widely across the rest of Zealand and know both the towns, the landscapes and the small local differences that give the region its character.
I know Funen from childhood summer holidays on Bjørnø and in Faaborg, and from later visits to places such as Langeland, Tåsinge, Svendborg, Egeskov and Odense. In Jutland, I lived for 14 years in central Aarhus and therefore know Aarhus and its surroundings very well. I have also travelled in many other parts of Jutland, and on Funen I carried out practical guide exercises as part of Guideservice Danmark's tour manager course.
As a tour manager, I like to bring places to life through history, culture, architecture, gastronomy and the small stories that give a place its character. I value overview, a good atmosphere and journeys where guests feel well looked after while also gaining more than just the best-known sights.
With me, you get a tour manager who knows Denmark from several perspectives and enjoys sharing both the big picture, the local character and the hidden details that make the country rewarding to experience.
