Denmark - land of fairytales and vikings. Come along with a historian and experience Denmark through the adventurous powers of storytelling.

I have an MA in history with special interests in the Stone Age, Vikings, the Middle Ages, the Reformation and the Napoleonic Wars, and I can easily be excited by the stories about the individuals during the occupation or the workers' struggle for better conditions and rights.

Denmark is a fairytale country with one of the world's oldest monarchies; a small country with an abundance of good stories just waiting to be told from mouth to mouth just like in the earliest times, and this is where I come into the picture.

Let's get out into the countryside and the towns and see what stories have unfolded, and perhaps try to draw threads through history so that we can better understand the culture and the country of present day Denmark. So regardless of whether you're into manors and castles, beautiful and wild nature, taste experiences (perhaps a brewery tour) or something else, we will together try to find the adventurous stories that have shaped the Danes into who we are today.
